The series, Disharmonized Succession, consists of a number of lead panels- cut, welded and embossed -and yet without altering the integrity of the material. The intrinsic and innate characteristics of the material adhere to the complexity and the richness of the expression.  Thus, what emerges is a layered and reconfigured material wherein the primal traits conflate with the socio-historical realities of my world.

The assimilation of the concrete material and the objectified perceptions are metaphors of my experiences.

My intention was to establish a parallel path with the myths that define the otherness of our lives– the other that we conceal by the symbolic cloak of mythology.
